The other’s shadow video installation is a piece based on the correlation among three images projected simultaneously to talk about objects, people, landscapes and architectures that are no longer useful. What is valuable? What is useless? What is art? What is rubbish? The purpose is to give visibility to bodies, objects, images, sounds and architectures that are invisible, discarded, displaced, oppressed, unused and that have lost their social, utilitarian or aesthetic value. The other’s shadow video installation is a part of the multidisciplinary project The other’s shadow which can be presented separately as a video installation.
The project is a partnership between the filmmaker Peter Azen and the artist Rodrigo Fischer.
